A Brown University School of Professional Studies graduate student has been named a finalist in a Harvard-sponsored competition to promote ideas that improve health care. Chris Godfrey of Dallas-based Bloodbuy will share a $150,000 award from the Health Acceleration Challenge with three other finalists. For developing a way to overcome the geographic unevenness of the nation’s blood supply, Chris Godfrey, a graduate student in Brown University’s Masters in Healthcare Leadership program has won a share of $150,000 in a Harvard-sponsored healthcare innovation competition.
